Creating Graphics (The Basic Workflow)
 
 
To start a design, you generally follow these three steps:
  • Step 1: Drawing Shapes
    Use the Toolbox on the left. You can click the Rectangle (F6), Ellipse (F7), or Polygon tools to create basic geometric shapes. 
  • Step 2: Adding Color (Fill & Outline)
    Select an object with the Pick Tool.
    • Left-click a color in the Palette to change the Fill (inside).
    • Right-click a color to change the Outline (border).
  • Step 3: Shaping and Effects
    Use the Shape Tool (F10) to pull on the “nodes” of an object to change its curves. 

 

Saving vs. Exporting
 
There is a big difference between “Saving” and “Exporting” in CorelDRAW:
