Internetworking is the practice of connecting two or more distinct computer networks so they can communicate as if they were a single large system.

Levels of Internetworking:

• Intranet: A private internetwork managed by a single organization, closed to the public.
• Extranet: An intranet with limited access for authorized outsiders (like partners or customers).
• Internet: The open, global interconnection of networks.
