Tool box in Photoshop

The Photoshop Toolbox (or Toolbar) is the vertical bar on the left side of your screen containing the tools needed to create, edit, and retouch images.

 

1. Move Tool

  • Moves objects and layers

 

2. Selection Tools

  • Marquee, Lasso, Magic Wand

  • Used to select parts of an image

 

3. Crop Tool

  • Used to cut or trim images

 

4. Brush Tool

  • Used for painting and drawing

 

5. Eraser Tool

  • Removes unwanted parts of an image

 

6. Text Tool

  • Adds text to images

 

7. Clone Stamp Tool

  • Copies one part of an image to another

 

8. Zoom Tool

  • Zooms in and out for detailed work
