Classification of Output Devices

Output devices are hardware components that receive processed data from a computer and convert it into a human-perceptible form, such as sound, visuals, or physical printouts.

• Monitor (VDU): The primary visual output device that displays text, images, and videos on a screen.
• Printer: Creates a physical “hard copy” of digital documents or images on paper. Common types include laser and inkjet printers.
• Speakers and Headphones: Convert digital signals into sound for audio output like music or voice.
