  • Paper is wrapped around a rotating drum.
  • Pens move horizontally while the drum rotates.
  • Used for large engineering and architectural drawings.

2. Flatbed Plotter

  • Paper remains fixed on a flat surface.
  • The pen moves in both X and Y directions.
  • Suitable for detailed technical drawings.

3. Inkjet Plotter

  • Uses inkjet technology to print high-quality color graphics.
  • Commonly used for posters, maps, CAD drawings, and banners.

4. Cutting Plotter

  • Uses a blade instead of a pen.
  • Cuts vinyl, stickers, signs, and labels.

Advantages

Fax Machine

A Fax Machine (Facsimile Machine) is a communication device that scans a document and sends its exact copy through a telephone line to another fax machine, where it is printed.

Working

  1. Place the document in the fax machine.
  2. The machine scans the document.
  3. The scanned data is transmitted through the telephone network.
  4. The receiving fax machine prints the document.

Advantages

  • Fast document transmission.
  • Sends signed documents.
  • Easy to operate.
  • Reliable for official communication.
